Meet the Mind Behind Pianni
Jordan Daniels is the founder of Pianni, a pianist, software engineer, and product creator exploring new ways technology can expand how people experience and make music.
Classically trained in piano performance at UCLA and USC, Jordan has performed at venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and Carnegie Hall. Alongside his musical career, his work in software engineering and technology has shaped his approach to designing musical products: combining the expressive qualities of traditional instruments with modern, accessible technology.
That intersection of music and technology led to the development of Orphea, Pianni’s portable electronic piano designed to make a real, playable instrument small enough to take almost anywhere.
Music education remains an important part of Jordan’s work. With a background in music education and years of experience teaching and creating educational content, he has built an online audience of more than 100,000 followers across YouTube and TikTok. His work spans performance, technology, product design, and education—all connected by the belief that making music should be more accessible, creative, and intuitive.
Rethinking How We Interact With Music
Pianni creates musical instruments, technology, and learning experiences designed to make music more accessible without sacrificing creativity or musical depth.
Our work begins with a simple question: How can thoughtful design and modern technology make it easier to create music wherever you are?
That philosophy is behind Orphea, a compact electronic piano that brings real piano features—including physical black and white keys, polyphony, octave controls, built-in sound, headphones, and MIDI—into a highly portable instrument.
Alongside our instruments, Pianni develops educational books and experiences that help new musicians take their first steps into music. From a first lesson to an experienced musician experimenting with a new instrument, our goal is the same: create tools that encourage people to play, explore, and create.
Pianni sits at the intersection of music, technology, design, and education, building new ways for people of all ages and experience levels to engage with music.
