I’ve spent much of my life at the piano, as a performer, teacher, and lifelong musician. Over the years, I’ve also built a career in software engineering, which gave me a completely different way of thinking about creativity and problem solving. Orphea grew out of those two parts of my life coming together: my love for music and my desire to build something new. What started as a simple idea gradually became a real project through years of experimenting, learning, and refining.

In Development
Orphea is still being refined for production, and we’re continuing to improve the playing experience based on testing and feedback.
One of the key features currently in development is velocity-sensitive keys, so Orphea can respond to how softly or strongly each note is played. We’re also continuing to refine the key feel, internal sound quality, and other details as we move toward the production version.
The prototypes shown on this page represent Orphea’s current stage of development and may differ slightly from the final production model.
