The Magical Musical Forest Adventure: Beginning Piano Book

I bought this to try with my 4-year-old who has never played piano before, and he was immediately excited to start pressing the keys. The illustrations are bright and playful, which makes it feel more like a storybook than a lesson. The color-coded system is what makes it work. The notes in the book match the colors on the keyboard, so it’s easy for a beginner to follow along and start experimenting with the songs. It ended up being a really fun, screen-free way to introduce him to music and explore some of his favorite classroom songs together.

This book is an absolute dream! Not only is it fun and interactive but it’s educational on a level children can understand. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be grabbing some as gifts for friends !

got this for my niece and thought that the piano + book combo was so adorable. there are instruction videos are easy to follow along and the piano keys are color coded too.

I bought this book for my girls who turned 4 a few months back. They loveeee music and books so this was a great way to combine the two. Plus it has some of their favorite nursery rhymes!! Of course the piano is their favorite part. So happy with my purchase,

I originally purchased this to help reinforce some basic musical concepts for my kids. While the idea is good, the execution didn’t fully hold their interest. The artwork feels somewhat generic and didn’t grab their attention the way other music or learning materials have. Because of that, the replayability was limited, after a few uses, my kids weren’t very motivated to come back to it.It may work better for some families or learning styles, but it was harder than expected to get my kids engaged with this one. Overall, it’s okay, but it fell a bit flat compared to similar educational resources we’ve used.

As a piano teacher, this book caught my eye for my 2 year old grand daughter. Story was cute with accompanying songs. I like that the book used note names (a,b,c...) along with finger numbers. My grand daughter will grow into the book. Meanwhile this has sparked an interest in music for her resulting in us making some instruments out of shoe box and rubber bands and shakers out of carboard tubes and rice. I highly recommend this book!

Bought this for my grandson. He was so excited that he was able to really make music. Fun learning. Just what kids need!

easy to learn Great introduction to the piano for big or little kidsThe attached keyboard is a great idea

What I like about the book is the kids love a book that they could push buttons hear music the tones my kids are one and four so they like to sing so with this they can sing and play the directions are clear. It tells you the colors the notes it has a practice guide before you really get started. I Advise any kid starting at the age of one just to get a feeling of the buttons to lead on to the keys to playing it has a variety of songs as well. Good job Jordan well done.
